Roya has had a passion for hair for as long as she can remember; to say the least, she loves everything about it. As a little girl, Roya would style all of her friend’s hair, and knew from that point that being a stylist was what she wanted to do with her life. Nothing makes her happier than a happy client.

Roya studied and earned her license at the Career Academy of Beauty. She started working right away at Carlton Hair back in 1998, and then moved on to the Lujon Salon in Fullerton where she was a top stylist for 14 years. Roya is a specialist in color, everything from full color transitions to highlights and lowlights.

Roya also has a passion for makeup and has taken professional classes at MUD Makeup School and through MAC Cosmetics. She has done hair and makeup for various print and media campaigns, as well as weddings, special events, and holidays.

Owner and operator, Brandee Pacillio opened The Right Hair salon on February 1, 2008. Brandee has been working with hair professionally since 1997. She started doing hair as a child and has always loved it. Her earliest memory of cutting hair was at about six years old; she cut her little sister’s hair off, and boy did she get in trouble for that one. Throughout junior high and into high school, Brandee played stylist for her friends, and she was a natural at it. From quick bang trims to coloring, she would even style their hair for school dances and events. Brandee has always had a passion for hair.

Turning her passion into her profession, Brandee is not only an incredibly successful stylist, but business owner as well. Many of Brandee’s clients have been with her for over a decade; as one of her clients, Audrey, states, “I have been going to Brandee for over 10 years. She has been through all our family’s special times from my brother’s first prom, my wedding, and even my son’s first haircut. She is always professional and willing to be there to work with my busy schedule.”

Brandee says that the most satisfying part of her job is making people feel great about the way they look. Nothing brings her more pleasure than a phone call from a satisfied client ranting and raving about all of the compliments they have received about their hair. According to another one of Brandee’s clients, Ellie, “My friends and family tell me that my hair looks like it did when I was 17: long, shiny and healthy!”

One of Brandee’s specialties is hair extensions. There is not a better way to WOW your friends and family than with hair extensions. Just like the famous actors in the movies, you transform into a new person! It’s amazing the self confidence that longer, fuller hair brings instantly.

As you can read in her qualifications, she has learned most of the techniques in the industry: and not only has she learned them, but she has also tried them all. Brittani McBride has managed The Right Hair Salon since the salon’s opening in February 2008. Born into a family of artists, hairdressers, and makeup artists, it was only natural that her creative genes brought her into the beauty industry. She began Cosmetology School with intentions of becoming a makeup artist, but ended up falling in love with hair as well.

Brittani has worked alongside salon owner Brandee Pacillio for nearly a decade and was honored when Brandee invited her to help open and manage The Right Hair Salon. Brittani specializes in color, Brazilian Blowout, Keratin treatments, seven methods of extensions, and airbrush makeup.

Alison (Alley) Wallace

Alison has been a hairstylist since 2009 and feels that a hairstyle “is a way to say who you are without having to speak” (Rachel Zoe). She has continuously pushed to further her education and techniques in order to bring the newest and hottest styles to you.

Before becoming licensed as a cosmetologist, Alison attended Chico State University and earned her Bachelors degree in English Literature. She is a great listener, which enhances her ability to create the results her clients envision.

So far, Alison’s favorite moment as a stylist was a simple cut and style for a teenage girl that came in for a trim and left smiling from ear to ear, amazed at how good her hair looked and felt. Seeing the pride in this girl’s eyes made Alison realize that she could never stop being a hairstylist. That one moment is what she strives to recreate for each and every client.

When asked why she loves her job, she replies, “I get to be creative, talk with clients, and share life with them. Who wouldn’t love to do that everyday?”
